 General FAQs

  • Bouley Bay is here on the map.

  • We do not offer to pick up and drop off. However, the number 4 bus route comes down to Bouley Bay and there are a variety of taxi companies to use. The best way to get around is by car. There is free parking available if you have a car.

  • You can book online here through the booking page.

    If there isn’t a date that suits you, please email us and we may be able to accommodate your needs. If you would rather book over the phone you can call 01534 866990. Pre-bookings are always essential and your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of payment.

  • If you’ve booked a shore dive, snorkelling or one of our courses then you arrive at the time on your booking confirmation.

    If you have booked a boat dive then the time on the confirmation is the boat departure time. You need to arrive ahead of time for the boat dives to kit up etc. We suggest at least 30-45mins before, but some people may feel that more time is needed and this varies from diver to diver.

  • There is free parking at Bouley Bay.

  • Just like with any activity it is always best to have personal insurance. So, yes we do highly suggest taking out insurance.

    Of course, Bouley bay dive centre has third-party insurance, but that doesn't cover individual diver treatments/ care. We can suggest either Dan Europe or Divemaster UK as reputable insurers that we also use ourselves

Boat diving FAQs

  • The boat dives are for any qualified diver, you must be a minimum of PADI Scuba DIver or equivalent level from another training agency and must make sure you are booking on a dive you are qualified to

    You must have dived within 6 months before diving on the boat. If not You can book a refresher dive to get reorientated first.

  • Your booking is for the boat spot, equipment hire can be added during booking. Note that dive computers, and torches are separate to the standard equipment hir and can be paid in store if required.

  • f you wish to cancel up to 7 days ahead we will refund you less 10% booking fee or you can re-schedule free of charge, less than 7 days will occur 20% charge with no rebooking option. less than 24 hours notice or no shows will occur the full cost.

  • If we cancel your booking due to weather conditions or technical issues we fully refund your booking. If we cancel your booking because you have arrived without the proper qualifications, unfit to dive or are unsafe to dive this is non-refunable.

Shore diving FAQs

  • The shore dives are for any qualified diver, you must be a minimum of PADI Scuba DIver or equivalent level from another training agency.

  • Our shore dives are at many different sites around Jersey, your booking confirmation will indicate the location of your dive. If you need directions, please contact us.

  • We meet at the dive site at the time of the booking. If you have selected gear hire your gear will be bought to the location for you. If your shore dive is Bouley bay we will meet at the dive centre.

  • A guide is included in all our shore dives.

    Optional extras:

    Equipment hire, equipment needs can be selected during booking, note that dive computers and torches are not included in the standard equipment hire.

    Equipment hire is for the day rather than per dive.

    If you are making 2 dives during the same day then select the ‘This is my second dive in the day’ option when booking your 2nd dive. This will carry over your equipment hire and only charge you an additional air fill.

  • Depending on the weather we may have to relocate or cancel the dive. We will give as much notice as possible when changing dives. The conditions can be very different on different sides of the island, the wind and swell direction will be the determining factors when deciding, rain usually isn’t a problem. If we cancel your dive you will be fully refunded.

  • If you wish to cancel up to 7 days ahead we will refund you less 10% booking fee or you can re-schedule free of charge, less than 7 days will occur 20% charge with no rebooking option. less than 24 hours notice or no shows will inccur the full cost. This policy is also relevant to club dives.

  • Yes, you will need to complete the shore dive forms and a medical form. You can fill these in on the day but please check the medical form beforehand as you may need written doctor’s approval before you dive with us.

Dive Club FAQs

  • The membership is £130 per season, It will include:

    6 shore dives

    A trial dive in the pool for a friend or family member

    A free Gift

    Summer Event

    Winter Event

    10% off kit hire

    15% off boat trips

    5% off servicing of kit hire

  • Once you sign up to the club you will receive credits to be able to book your 6 shore dives and try dives, when you get to check out the system simply won't charge you. Also as a member when you are in check out it will automatically discount your kit hire and boat trips!

    If you finish your 6 dives and still want to dive. That's ok because as a member you will get super cheap shore dives and that will also be applied at check out.

  • No, you don’t the way that we have done the club you can use your benefits and credits when you like so some may use all their credits at once, and some may spread them out. We offer so many dives that even if you signed up in October you could redeem all your credits. You may miss the summer event but nothing else.

  • Our club is super cheap and we have done the club to keep a dive community going in Jersey. If you don’t use all your credits they are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another season.

  • If you wish to cancel up to 7 days ahead we will refund you less 10% booking fee or you can re-schedule free of charge, less than 7 days will occur 20% charge with no rebooking option. less than 24 hours notice or no shows will incur the full cost. We have to do this as staff have to be paid and we may have missed other bookings in order to take yours.

  • If it's because of the weather we may have to relocate or cancel the dive. We will give as much notice as possible when changing dives. The conditions can be very different on different sides of the island, the wind and swell direction will be the determining factors when deciding, rain usually isn’t a problem. If we cancel your dive you will be fully refunded and if it's relocated we will give you the option to either change or be refunded.

  • When you sign up to the club we will ask you to complete a set of forms for the season there will be:

    Diver medical.

    Safe diving standards form.

    Liability forms.

    Data protection form.
